Route 26: History & Mystery 281 miles
History and magnificent scenery are ever present on this tour. Just outside town lies Culloden, where Bonnie Prince Charlie’s defeat in 1746 ruined the last hope of a Stuart restoration to the British throne. There are glorious sea, loch, island and mountain views, and who knows what may be lurking in Loch Ness?

Route 27: The Castles of Mar 134 miles
Aberdeen is the gateway to Royal Deeside and to the great spread of historic houses known as the Castles of Mar. The Royal Family’s Scottish home is here, where pine and birchwoods line the river-sides and heathery grouse moors rise to the skyline hills. Salmon and trout anglers fish the Dee and its companion river, the Don. Gliders soar above Aboyne and Dinnet, while older transport is the fascination at Alford.

Route 28: Exploring the Tweed Valley 134 miles
Hills are an important part of this tour, which visits the Pentlands, the Eildons and the Lammermuirs, and looks south to the Cheviots. But the valley of the River Tweed, one of Scotland’s great trout and salmon waters, is the most significant element as the journey reaches the Border country.

Route 29: Along the Smuggler’s Coast 119 miles
Mountains, forests and beautiful stretches of coastline follow the road in Tour 29 - Along the Smugglers' Coast accompaniment to this tour from Dumfries. The huge Galloway Forest Park offers walks and trails, exhibitions, nature reserves and fishing waters. Along the coast, the Solway smugglers once brought contraband from the Isle of Man.

Route 30: The Beautiful West Highlands 246 miles
Some of the most striking seascapes, mountains, forests and moorland scenery in the West Highlands form the landscape of this tour, based on the firmly Lowland town of Dumbarton.

What Customers are saying about RoadTour...

“Brilliant information, have used several of the pubs and visited many of the properties. Some that I didn’t know were so close to home. Keep up the good work.”
Steve, UK

“Thanks very much for your help. Gone out and got a 1Gb card and all is now loaded. One way of rating a company is the back up support and you score 10/10 .”
Graham, London

“The content is good and the level of detail about right, enough to pique your interest but not so much that you feel you're attending a lecture.”
Sam, Manchester

“I've used the programme a few times now on my travels and it does add a good deal of value to a journey so I'm very happy with my purchase.”
John, UK

“The Audio commentary on the Garmin was well narrated and definitely had the feel of the audio guides you get when you are walking around the landmarks themselves”.
Linda, New Jersey

“Finding atmospheric pubs with good food is always a challenge when you don't know the area and can be stressful when you're hungry and tired!!”

“The heritage commentary is really informative and entertaining – it’s great to discover the background to the brown tourist signs we normally whizz by on the motorway.”
Michael, Reading

“This is the perfect thing for history buffs - RoadTour really brings boring car journeys to life.”
Guy, London

“It doesn't intrude on the journey it complements it with just enough information if you are not stopping at the attraction.”
