Perfect for walkers and cyclists
OutDoors Lite provides you with 1:250k mapping for the whole of the UK. Some 1:50k mapping detail around Swansea is designed to give a taste of the regional products while providing all the same routing and tracking functions.
The dedicated walker will prefer the 1:50k regional maps providing all the high quality, detailed mapping for which the OS is famously respected. A similar region of maps on the market leading specialist walkers/cyclists device would cost £120 - so OutDoors provides a massive saving over such traditional GPS devices. Other options include the National Parks product covering all the UK’s National Parks.
Functions
RoadTour is dedicated to providing you with a rich range of functions to compliment the OS maps. Right now this functionality includes:

- See current position on an OS map
- Complete (non-urban) GB Road-map
- Scroll and Zoom anywhere around the UK
- Unlimited zoom
- Super fast search of 250,000 UK place names including 40,000 Towns as well as airports, farms, hills, woodlands, commons and other places. If it’s named on an OS map, you can find it and see it on the map in seconds
- Fast search by OS Grid Reference or by Longitude and Latitude.
- Quickly Build Routes using the touch-screen; then add route descriptions or tips on the nearest pub!
- Follow Routes on the map, seeing current position against the chosen route
- Import Routes from the web
Buying OutDoors gives you a license for all time to the OS maps in question and we shall be constantly improving the experience with new functionality and the latest OS mapping.
