“Looking like the setting for a Jane Austen adaptation, Grimsthorpe Castle rises majestically out of the flat Lincolnshire countryside. It is surrounded by a park of rolling green pastures, landscaped gardens and ancient woodland, and a large lake nearby. The house was built in the 1700’s and was the final masterpiece of Sir John Vanbrugh, an English architect and dramatist best known for his design of Blenheim Palace. The estate has been in the de Eresby family since 1516. Henry the Eighth granted it to them when William, the 11th Baron Willoughby de Eresby married Spanish noblewoman, Maria de Salinas – a close friend of Catherine of Aragon. Inside the house are thrones used by Prince Albert and Edward VII, the desk on which Queen Victoria signed her oath and the writing desk used by George I when he signed the first Act of Parliament for his reign. Their presence is a direct result of the family’s inherited office of Lord Great Chamberlains to the Palace of Westminster. Outside there are beautiful paths leading to the various gardens, tree lined avenues, scenic benches and an apple orchard. Within the oak and chestnut woodland there is plenty of wildlife, including three types of deer. Visitors can cycle or stroll along the pathways to drink in the tranquillity of the Lincolnshire countryside. ”

“Thanks very much for your help. Gone out and got a 1Gb card and all is now loaded. One way of rating a company is the back up support and you score 10/10 .”
Graham, London

Sam, Manchester
