Clumber Park

“Clumber Park is a breathtaking location in which to stretch your legs. Partially designed by the well-known landscaper Capability Brown, the park covers 15 square kilometres. It is laid out with woods, open grassland and undulating fields. There is a peaceful lake and many opportunities to explore the woodland trails by bicycle – either bring your own or hire one there. The estate was given to the Third Duke of Newcastle in by Queen Anne in 1707. The abundance of deer, rabbit and partridge made it a favourite of the game loving Duke. Subsequent Dukes added a Gothic revival chapel, a classical bridge, stables and an Edwardian walled kitchen garden - which provided the produce for the Dukes’ table. Chrysanthemums, fuchsias, carnations, figs, grapes and peaches are also found here, under cover of the National Trust’s oldest glass house. ”

I didn’t
know were so close to home. Keep up the good work.”

“Thanks very much for your help. Gone out and got a 1Gb card and all is now loaded. One way of rating a company is the back up support and you score 10/10 .”
Graham, London

that you feel you're attending a lecture.”
Sam, Manchester

guides you get when you are walking around the landmarks themselves”.
Linda, New Jersey
